PERFORMANCE WORKSHOPS

Performance workshops are where all your hard work pays off. This workshop is structured to help you create seven minutes of stand-up material, and culminates in your own stage performance in front of a live audience. Through rehearsal and writing sessions, you will work through your raw material. Feedback in each class is designed to provide you with multiple peer perspectives on your act. Each session is videotaped on your personal cassette (provided) so that you may study your progress at home. This method is proven to accelerate your material generation and build your confidence. In Week Five, you unleash your act on the world in a public showcase. The final class is devoted to a video review of your showcase performance. Through rehearsal, lecture and performance, you will learn advanced techniques and tips that will put you on your way to:
