front of an instructor and other funny people who are writing material for you!

Working Comedians Workshop
The highest level of service for the professional comedian. An ongoing
workshop that addresses the week to week management of a comedy career.
Comedians define goals and are given weekly assignments and exercises.
This workshop is a combination of public performance, private writing
sessions, in class performance and one-on-one meetings. We cover specific booker
and club politics, etiquette, promo packages, managers, agents, SF,LA, NY,
Midwest, TV, Cruises, Warm Up, Riffing, Call Backs, tags, material generation
(Structured and organic) and much, much more.
Membership requirements:
1. 3 years
minimum experience as a comedian
2. You are a paid regular at Clubhouse SF,Rooster T Feathers, Punchline, Cobbs,
San Jose Improv or equivalent from other cities.
3. Verifiable References from working comedians or bookers
Class
size is limited to 8 and new spots only become available if any from the
original 8 move on.
